Swim/Bike/Run Session - Bikes, helmets & gloves required

There will be a swim/bike/run session this weekend.  This is an updated session from the Swim/Bike only session previously advertised.

Registration will be in the pool reception where the children will be split into two groups.  The younger group (Jonnys) will swim first whilst the older group (Alistairs) complete a bike session on the school tennis courts (accessible via the gate to the LHS of the swimming pool).  After approximately 35/40mins the groups will swap round.

Please bring bikes and don't forget to check the tyre pressures beforehand and helmets!  We run a strict 'no helmet, no ride' policy so please just double check before you leave.

The timings for the sessions will be as follows;

Group A (Alastairs)

09:30 – 10:00 Bike training on the school tennis courts (30 mins)

10:00 – 10:05 Transition One (10 mins)

10:05 – 10:55 Swim session (45 mins)

10:55 – 11:00 Transition Two (5 mins)

11:00 – 11:30 Run training (all together) (30 mins)

Group B (Jonnys)

09:30 – 10:10 Swim session (40 mins)

10:10 – 10:25 Transition One (15 mins)

10:25 – 10:55 Bike training on the school tennis courts (30 mins)

10:55 – 11:00 Transition Two (5 mins)

11:00 – 11:30 Run training (all together) (30 mins)

Please could you make sure that the children have some warm clothing, including a lightweight rain jacket, hats and GLOVES for when they do the bike session.
